Palo Santo, which means “holy wood,” has long been used in South America for ceremonial and spiritual practices. Like white sage, it has traditionally been burned to help cleanse the energy of a space, clear the aura, and support healing from negative influences. In Europe too, people choose to buy the holy wood to clean their houses or just for the fragrances in its purest form. 

Palo Santo gives off a very mild odor. The fragrance can be described as a warm, wooden and lightly aroma with a sweet touch that sometimes slip through.
