50g Benzoin Resin

Benzoin Resin Incense has a warm, sweet and comforting fragrance with rich balsamic depth and soft vanilla-like notes. Benzoin is an aromatic resin obtained from Styrax trees and has a long history of use in incense, perfumery and traditional ceremonial practices.

When gently heated over a charcoal disc, the resin releases a smooth, rounded aroma that feels sweeter and softer than frankincense or myrrh. Its warm, resinous character makes it especially suited to relaxation, meditation, ritual and creating a cosy, calming atmosphere at home.

To use, light a charcoal disc and place it in a suitable heatproof incense holder. Once the charcoal begins to grey around the edges, carefully add a small amount of Benzoin Resin on top. A layer of sand beneath the charcoal can help absorb heat.
