50g Amber Resin

Amber Resin Incense has a warm, rich fragrance with sweet, resinous, woody and softly balsamic notes. Unlike frankincense or myrrh, “amber” incense is usually not one single natural resin. It is typically a blended incense accord made from aromatic resins such as labdanum and benzoin, often softened with vanilla and other fragrant materials to create its characteristic warm, golden scent.

When gently heated over a charcoal disc, Amber Resin releases a deep, enveloping aroma with a smooth sweetness and earthy warmth. Its comforting, slightly exotic character makes it especially well suited to relaxation, meditation, ritual and creating a cosy, atmospheric space.

To use, light a charcoal disc and place it in a suitable heatproof incense holder. Once the charcoal begins to grey around the edges, carefully add a small amount of Amber Resin on top. A layer of sand beneath the charcoal can help absorb heat.
